As we’re reaching the end of 2019, we’re looking back at a string of successful festivals, world-class tournaments, and the ever-growing community who has helped us make that happen in the past 25 years. Today, we’re sharing our plans for 2020. Eleven festivals, ten cities, and more to come for another 25 years.
We can’t help but to look at some of the highlights that made 2019 a year to remember. From epic majors and visiting new cities, to hosting all-women’s tournaments and breaking visitor records, each and every visitor, viewer, player, talent, and crew helped in creating unique experiences throughout the year.
The CORSAIR DreamLeague Major in Stockholm saw Vici take home the trophy. DreamLeague returns with a major in Leipzig in 2020.
Besiktas took home the $50,000 grand prize in DreamHack’s first ever all-women’s tournament DreamHack Showdown in Valencia.
After three years in Austin, DreamHack debuted in Dallas, bringing everything gaming to Texas yet again. DreamHack Dallas returns in May 2020.
DreamHack Summer offered great weather and – of course – a game of dodgeball with Sodapoppin. In 2020, our Summer event might just bring you a surprise.
A massive expo, 80 hours of LAN, and a $250,000 Fortnite tournament made for our biggest Winter yet, and there’s no doubt we want to repeat it in 2020.
In 2020, we continue to bring DreamHack all over the world. Hosting eleven major festivals across ten cities, we’re bringing everything and everyone gaming under one roof to celebrate our passion. See you at DreamHack!

Talking about esports, we might just bring a surprise 🤭

Atlanta is returning for the third time in the DreamHack lineup. Over 35 000 visitors showed up last time we opened the doors at the Georgia World Congress Center, and 2020 will see even more music, LAN, and fighting games to make sure you won’t leave the event unsatisfied. Hotlanta, here we come!

We just got out of the biggest DreamHack of the year – DreamHack Winter – but still can’t wait until next November to enter the halls of Elmia again. Everyone living in and coming to Jönköping should expect yet another event packed with gaming, along with the extra day of LAN added before the festival opens.
Dec 11 – 13
Just like in Sweden and the U.S., the Spanish gamers couldn’t get enough of DreamHack, adding Sevilla to their roster in 2018 and continuing the tradition in 2019. 2020 is no different and with the LAN at the core, DreamHack Sevilla will continue to see both local and global top tier world class esports.
